Liverpool fans can continue to rejoice as they arguably support one of the world’s best football clubs as FIFA 21’s latest player ratings certainly appears to back up that notion.
The Reds have 11 players feature in the top 100 players within the game franchise, with a number of their top players having been recognised following a hugely successful season. Indeed, those rankings might benefit players who use esports betting sites as betting on esport gamers that use Liverpool could prove profitable.
Here are those 11 players to be ranked in the top 100 of the FIFA 21 game series:
Virgil van Dijk – 90 Overall
The Dutchman has been ranked as the 7th-best player on the game, therefore being considered the best defender in football. Indeed, with stats that consist of 93 marking, 93 standing tackle, 92 strength, 90 jumping, and 90 interceptions, it is not hard to see why he is ranked as 90 overall.
Mohamed Salah – 90 Overall
Mohamed Salah shares the same overall ranking with Van Dijk, but for his ability in the final third as an attacker. The Egyptian has been lethal in front of goal for Liverpool over the last few seasons, so it is no surprise he is up near the top of the list.
Sadio Mane – 90 Overall
Arguably, Salah will not have been as successful as he has been if it were not for Sadio Mane, therefore it is no surprise that the Senegal international is ranked the same as his African colleague.
Alisson Becker – 90 Overall
Okay, having three 90-rated overalls is pretty ludacrious in terms of FIFA, but Liverpool have four! Alisson Becker is rated as one of the best goalkeepers in the game and the Brazilian has certainly proven his worth to the Reds since arriving a couple of years ago.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 87 Overall
Still only 22-years-old, Trent Alexander-Arnold is already rated as highly as 87! Arguably one of the best right-backs in the world, it is no surprise that the youngster is considered as highly as he is.
Roberto Firmino – 87 Overall
Another 87 overall-rated player within the Anfield squad is Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian has been crucial for Jurgen Klopp’s side but if he can rediscover his form in front of goal, then perhaps he’ll see an increase at some point.
Andrew Robertson – 87 Overall
Indeed, having one full-back rated at 87 is generally awesome, but having both is extremely impressive. Andrew Robertson has continued to see his stock rise whilst a part of the Liverpool squad over the years and has proven to be as crucial as any other player for Klopp.
Fabinho – 87 Overall
Arguably one of the best defensive midfielders to be playing football at the moment, Fabinho is considered to be one of the best in the FIFA 21 game as well. The Brazilian is a true midfield general that helps to protect the defence and let others go forward.
Jordan Henderson – 86 Overall
Liverpool’s skipper, Jordan Henderson has been handed an 86 overall rating after leading the club to their first Premier League title and their first top-flight title in 30 years – in which he was named player of the year. Perhaps criminally underrated by many, it seems FIFA 21 values him as highly as Klopp does.
Thiago Alcantara – 85 Overall
One of Liverpool’s newest editions rounds off the top 10 players from the club to feature in FIFA 21s top 100. Having starred for Bayern Munich last season (and for numerous other campaigns), Thiago Alcantara will be expected to replicate those performances and bring his style to Anfield.
Georginio Wijnaldum – 85 Overall
Whether he remains a Liverpool player for much longer, Georginio Wijnaldum is the 11th (and final) Red to feature in the top 100 players of the game. The Dutchman has been a crucial element to the team over the years, although with the likes of the aforementioned Fabinho and Thiago, minutes on the field could be rather limited.
