What are your thoughts on our Semi Final victory against Roma over the 2 legs and how confidentt are you that we can lift No.6 in Kyiv?
Very interesting question this is let’s start with the first leg, I feel we played so of the best football I’ve seen this season that night finished 5-2 but maybe with s bit of luck could of been at least 7. It’s was always going to be difficult going to Rome with the two away goals against us , at 2-2 we killed the game slowed it down and it knocked the stuffing out of Roma only to be a stunning goal which lifted then for the last 5 mins , getting a dubious penalty which gave Roma a 4-2 lead , this score flattered them in my opinion and I know this is daft but I wasn’t nervous at all.
Going into the final against a Madrid side that has won it the last two years I suppose I should be nervous of the outcome but feel with our front three we can blow them away in the first half , so to answer the questions I’m very confident we will lift No6.
What are your initial thoughts when you look ahead to the game against Chelsea this Sunday?
This is going to be very controversial but I would rest Salah as he looked tired in the semi final and we should have enough to get at least a draw and a win in the last two games. Chelsea need the win so that should play into our hands.
Could a potential spot in the UCL final prove to be a distraction for Klopp’s side?
I feel it will give us s massive lift, the only thought I have maybe the players will have in there mind not to get injured.
Will Liverpool suffer heavy legs after their exerts in mid-week at Roma?
There is a possibility of this but as they will be on a high still I’m sure that will get them through the game we have a great togetherness which pulls you through .
Where are you expecting Chelsea to cause you problems?
Depending on what team Conte puts out but I’m guessing he will start with Giroud playing the odd long ball and plenty of crosses.
Do you think they have any chance of stopping Mo Salah? If Salah plays I expect him to play around 70 mins of the game as we all know by now when Mo is in it but many can stop him.
Liverpool remain strong favourites to qualify for next season’s Champions League via a top four finish – but Chelsea will force you to sweat a little longer after their victory of Swansea… are you feeling confident?
I’m very confident we will stay in the Top four we have a much superior goal difference than Chelsea it would take a melt down for us not to stay in the top four.
Klopp will be without his trusted assistant Zeljko Buvac for the remainder of the season after taking leave of absence due to personal reasons. How much of an impact will this have? Has he been pivotal to Liverpool’s success?
I feel it may have s little impact on Klopp as he went to Buvac during games but as for the players the system is installed in them so it’s just carry on the way we are . Buvac has been pivotal in the system they have set up Klopp and all his backroom staff have had input into moulding the team .
Has this season’s success surpassed the expectations of the fans?
Most of the fans at the start of the season would of taken a Top four finish and a UCL final. Let’s hope it’s s Top four finish and No6 that would surpass most fans expectations, but you always have the odd few who won’t be happy.
Is this the start of a Liverpool revolution that will see the club go toe to toe with the likes of Man City for the PL title next year?
I feel with good business in the close season there’s no reason why we shouldn’t challenge Man City etc for the league, if it wasn’t for so many dress we wouldn’t off been far off this week year.
Score prediction and why please?
Chelsea v Liverpool just got a feeling we will win a close 3 goal gave 2-1 as we will still be on a high from the semi. We have enough in our team to go to Stamford bridge and come away with a win. The long it’s a draw the better as they will start to leave gaps at the back It’s a must win for them.
