He is up against the Golden Glove winner David De Gea, Manchester City’s assist king, Kevin De Bruyne, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Harry Kane and former Liverpool player Raheem Sterling.

Champions League

Liverpool FC can confirm that the club has sold out of tickets for the Champions League Final on the 26th of May. The final will take place in the Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex, Kiev, Ukraine as Liverpool look to stop Real Madrid’s dominance in Europe and win their 6th Champions League competition.

Jurgen Klopp’s side started their first full day of their training camp in Marbella yesterday. The side are looking to be in top shape for the final come the end of May and hope a few days training in the sunny Marbella can help with that.

World Cup

Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander Arnold were the only two players from Liverpool to make the 23-man squad for Gareth Southgate’s England side in Russia. The likes of Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne missed out, while Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Joe Gomez will be injured for the tournament. There was also talks of internationally retired James Milner coming back into the frame for Russia, but Southgate decided against the recall.

Again, according to the Metro Liverpool are battling with PSG for the signature of AC Milan’s young goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. AC Milan do not plan on selling their hottest prospect who they say is the future of Italian football, but if the player wants to leave they can’t stop him.
