Liverpool are just 90 minutes away from reaching their first Champions League final since 2007. The reds travel to Rome with a 5-2 lead from the first-leg.
Jurgen Klopp will be without Joe Gomez who suffered an injury in the game against Stoke and Adam Lallana despite travelling with the squad.
“Lallana is here, he’s not really an option for the squad tomorrow. Gomez is not here, he had an injury after 3 or 4 mins v Stoke and tried to come through it.”
The boss also gave his thoughts on the historic game against Roma.
Klopp: “I am really looking forward to it. You want to play for the big stakes and it’s a great opportunity.
We deserve to be here. If we have the result we need, we deserve to be in the final. If not, then Roma deserve it.
We are here to fight for our dreams. We want to go to the final.
People say that Roma only have to win 3-0, but we will be there as well tomorrow night. We will not wait in the dressing room! We are here to fight for our dreams. We want to go to the final.”
Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool will be without assistant manager Zeljko Buvac for the remainder of the season. The assistant manager will be absent for ‘personal reasons’.
During their press conference, Klopp told reporters: “We gave a club comment on that already and it is all we will say about it.”
