Battle for 4th

Liverpool FC head into the final home game of the season still needing a point against Brighton to secure their European status next season.

Jürgen Klopp and co were fortunate that Huddersfield was able to take a point at home against Chelsea, meaning the future of The Reds for next season were still in their own hands and displayed the fact that this year’s European finalists only need one more point due to their superior goal difference.

Tottenham cemented their place in the top four after they beat Newcastle on Wednesday, meaning the fight for fourth is between Chelsea and Liverpool.
