Xherdan Shaqiri is having a horrendous season in Liverpool. However, it’s unfair to put the blame upon him completely. He is struggling to get game time even in the cup games.

The Swiss international joined the Reds 18 weeks back and had a good first year in Anfield which afforded a Champions League winners medal.

Nonetheless, it appears like Shaqiri is in problem at Liverpool – and particularly when a single rumour is true.

According to a report from 90Min, Jurgen Klopp might want to sign Wolves winger Adama Traore for its Premier League leaders which could push the 28-year-old even nearer to the entrance doorway on Merseyside.

Klopp has only signed a single player in Takumi Minamino’s kind, and also an expected bargain for Traore is a message that was very clear he has no future at Liverpool.

Keep in mind that the manager has Mo Salah and Sadio Mane at his disposal, therefore it’s clear what the strategy for the former Stoke winger and plan of Klopp is if Traore were to combine Minamino in Anfield.

Substitute looks that are fresh and injuries are the narrative of the 2019-20 effort of Shaqiri and it does not seem like improving.

Minamino alone should make him consider his future with the European champions, but if Liverpool are really even looking at Traore then that’s enough to make him look for a new club as soon as possible.
