Liverpool has been struck with some of the world luck this season with a lot of their star players being affective by season ending injuries or even by the virus Covid-19 which has caused a global pandemic. With this continuing, many Liverpool fans have been worried that this is going to affect their campaign in both the Premier League and Champions League and will be looking to their squad to enable them to continue to compete.

Whilst we wait for the next round of fixtures in the Premier League, many football fans have been looking for alternative sites to bet on and sports betting sites such as these have seen a surge in numbers during the international break. This is due to the fact that they have multiple markets for football fans to gamble on with the added promotional deals that they are offering at the moment, it’s worth checking out before the weekend.

The worries started to happen in their defence and it first started when the Merseyside derby was played at Goodison Park and Jordan Pickford clattered into Virgil Van Dijk and put him out for the season after he ruptured his ACL and MCL in what was a filthy tackle, and many experts and pundits were bemused when he wasn’t awarded with a red card for such a tackle. Furthermore, in defence, Joe Gomez has been injured in England training during the international break putting further worry on Klopp’s squad.

One of Liverpool’s main forms of attack is through their wingbacks and with Trent Alexander-Arnold pulling up on his calf in the game against Manchester City and Andy Robertson claiming he has some pain playing for Scotland, it certainly is worrying times for Liverpool fans.

Although, this isn’t just an issue for the Liverpool squad with many Premier League teams witnessing more injuries than usual due to the fact that the schedule for players this year is incredibly intense and one that many managers have come out and disagreed with and say that it is unrealistic to play. With league games at the weekend, Europe in the week and with added international tournaments and domestic cups, the demand on footballers this year with limited time to prepare in the summer this year due to the virus, there have been wide-scale claims to look after the players more.
